One of Henson Architecture‘s projects recently received the first delivery in New York City of Smartrock, a new combined mineral wool insulation and intello airsealing product that we’ve known has been in the works for quite some time. We actually revised the wall assemblies on the fly when we knew it had become available. This is for a gut retrofit of an apartment and penthouse in the Ladies Mile Historic District. Smartrock is the new Rockwool product, “ROCKWOOL insulation with integrated INTELLO PLUS® smart vapor retarder”.
